BuzzLine Contest – Week 17 – Yay Yahoo!

It’s Friday, and we’re buzzin’, but first, congrats to Jeff Wilson, BuzzLine’s latest winner!

marissa mayerYahoo! made news this week. A year after Marissa Mayer took over as CEO, Yahoo! edged Google in U.S. web traffic in July. It’s the first time at the top for Yahoo! since May 2011. And this doesn’t include web traffic from the Yahoo!-owned Tumblr.

According to ComScore, the market researcher that measures web traffic, games, real estate and email led Yahoo!. (Or, maybe Mayer’s much publicized “work at the office” policy is working?)

Regardless of “why,” the important thing for Yahoo! is to keep it going.

For a cup of dark roast sweetened with glory, what six words of advice would YOU give Yahoo! to keep it in the spotlight?

The opportunities for Yahoo! are endless! And it’s up to you. That’s who.

Just leave your six words of advice in the comments below. Our chosen winner will receive a Starbucks gift card. (Bonus points this week for anyone advising via a Yahoo! email address.)

Go.
